StrikerVR Installation

Requirements:

• Hardware:
  • VR-ready PC
  • StrikerVR Mavrik Pro
  • Vive Wrist Tracker
  • HTC Vive Focus 3 HMD
    
• Software:
  • StrikerLink (Windows) – to be installed on the VR-ready PC
  • StrikerLink (on HMD) – to be sideloaded on the VR headset (best is to use the Local Manager app)
    • Upon installing the APK either restart the HMD or use the Local Manager to open an ADB shell and run the following command:
      • am start-foreground-service -n com.StrikerVR.StrikerLink/com.StrikerVR.StrikerLink.BackgroundService
        
• Initial Steps:
  • Pair the Wrist Tracker to Focus 3 – https://www.vive.com/mea-en/support/wrist-tracker/category_howto/pairing-and-calibrating.html
    • Note: make sure the hand tracking is enabled and unpair the Focus 3 controllers in order to get the option to pair a Wrist Tracker
  • Pair the Mavrik PRO device through: Focus 3 Settings -> Connectivity -> Bluetooth -> Add New Device -> select [Mavrik Pro] and just confirm the code
  • Load the StrikerVR web settings on the VR-ready PC: http://<YOUR_WINDOWS_IP_ADDRESS>:5046/#!/system
    • Under System, set the following settings:
      • Enable Bridge Mode = ON
      • Bridge Type = APPS
      • Runtime Bridge Type = SERVER
      • Bridge Port = 5044
    • Click on “Apply Settings” and confirm the changes.
  • Under a browser, load the Focus 3 Mavrik settings: http://<YOUR_FOCUS3_IP_ADDRESS>:5046/#!/system
    • Under System, set the following settings:
      • Enable Bridge Mode = ON
      • Bridge Type = DEVICES
      • Runtime Bridge Type = CLIENT
      • Bridge Server IP = <YOUR_WINDOWS_IP_ADDRESS>
      • Bridge Port = 5044
    • Click on “Apply Settings” and confirm the changes.
